The new Cadillac CT4 is one of Cadillac's most anticipated models this year. Replacing the Cadillac ATS, the CT4 is the most accessible car in the family and offers the comfort and refinement expected of a Cadillac sedan. Here are three things to know about the new Cadillac CT4.
Available for Less Than $40,000
The new Cadillac CT4 is scheduled for 2020 and will be the most affordable sedan in the Cadillac lineup, albeit the most modern. The new CT4 is spacious, features advanced technologies, and is refined. Most importantly, its starting price is expected to be under the $40,000 mark!
Powered by a Turbo Engine and a Ten-Speed Gearbox
The standard engine in the new Cadillac CT4 will be a 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder that develops 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission, which is exclusive to the luxury compact sedan segment. The all-wheel-drive system will be offered as well. We expect to see three versions of the CT4: Luxury, Luxury Premium, and Sport. Each version will have different aesthetic elements.
A Cadillac CT4-V Will Be Offered
The Cadillac CT4-V will also be available with a powerful four-cylinder turbocharged engine offering 320 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. This will be enough to reach 100 km/h in less than 5.0 seconds. Unlike the older generation of the Cadillac ATS, the CT4-V will also be available with all-wheel drive. Although we do not have the official price of the Cadillac CT4-V as of yet, we expect it to be about $50,000.
